200 Algerian made Mercedes vehicles received by National Defense Ministry

Equipment Central Directorate Service of the National Defense received on Sunday, more than 200 four-wheel cars with the label ‘Mercedes Benz’, that were made by the Algerian company-making industry of Mercedes Benz Cars in Tiaret (western Algeria).
According to a statement that was issued by the National Defense Ministry, in the framework of strengthening the operational capacity and efficiency of the combat units of National People’s Army, the first batch of four-wheel drive vehicles with the label ‘Mercedes Benz’ (P. A. 6) category ‘C’ of the Algerian-making industry Mercedes Benz Cars Mark in Tiaret (western Algeria), as the operation will end on January 15, as the Directorate of the National Defense Ministry Equipment received more than 200 vehicles were registered in the program production for the year 2014.
According to the same statement, the production of these four-wheel-drive vehicles as a first stage will start before March 2015 in the same location, in the process of production of trucks with multiple tasks “Sprinter” of the same brand Mercedes Benz.
“This achievement comes in the context of the embodiment of the economic recovery program of the President of the Republic, which aims to develop the national industry, and it also reflects the high command keenness of the leadership of National People’s Army to develop the capacities of military industries, to meet the needs of the armed forces and to contribute to the national development.
