Abdelaziz Bouteflika: “Security Of Algeria Is Strengthened Despite The Regional Crisis”
Algeria’s security is strengthened in various parts of the country, despite the situation of crisis and dangerous that is surrounding it, thanks to harmony and national reconciliation and the sacrifices of the National People’s Army, President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, said on Sunday.
In a letter that was read on his behalf by the Minister of Mujahideen (war veterans) on Sunday, in Tamenrasset (southern Algeria) on the occasion of the Martyr’s National Day, President Bouteflika said that “Algeria, since it recovered security and peace noticed the completion of many projects in the economic, social and cultural fields”.
“Today, more work is done to absorb the delay and introduce happiness and prosperity in the hearts of all Algerian citizens”.
President Bouteflika called on youth to “take inspiration in this day like the Martyr to continue to build Algeria’s pride and dignity, that Algeria, for which one and a half million of its best sons and daughters were martyred.”
“The young women of our country and its young men, who have expressed their cohesion and solidarity throughout history, will not be prevented from what they wanted, no matter how hard, because their strong wills realized miracles and will remain the energy that translated the will of the glorious martyrs who gave the most wonderful pictures of solidarity in the heroic epics that they fought across the ages”.
“We are not entitled to salute the national day of the martyr and enough, but we have the right to show clearly our pride of what we have lost in the hearts of martyrs and Mujahideen (war veterans) of glory, to become fortified and strong in a world that challenges are known to all of us”, recalling that great strides were taken in enabling the Algerians to make their way to the desired goals and to “preserve all gains that were made in peace and national reconciliation to consolidate confidence and strengthen national cohesion”.
