Air Algerie General Director: “I will not resign”
General Director of Air Algerie Mohamed Saleh Boultif Tuesday said a final report about the crashed plane in Mali will be submitted by a French office on November 30th.
“Air Algerie will enter many African countries as part of an expansive strategy by opening new lines in Africa and Asia,” Boultif told Algeria’s El Moujahid newspaper.
Speaking about the crash of a Spanish plane rent by Algeria, he said Air Algerie was hit by an unprecedented campaign to tarnish its reputation by western media.
“Algeria is a victim as the Spanish company is responsible for maintenance. The Algerian transport ministry and Air Algerie’s union supported me because they know how the accident happened.”
“The problem is not in me. I will never resign unless the cabinet dismisses me. The final report about the victims’ identity will be revealed on November 30th,” he added.
