More than 9,000 police officers graduated as police officers and police agents in the course of the year 2017 from 13 police schools spread across the national territory, according to a statement issued Sunday by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

“During the year 2017, the DGSN celebrated the graduation of 9,112 elements as police officers and police agents in 13 provinces across the national territory,” the statement indicated.

As a result, the ranks of the national security corps have been strengthened by 3,928 first-rank police officers, including 524 females from six police schools, where graduates have benefited from a two-year training, the statement added.

At the rank of police officers, 5,184 elements, including 524 women, graduated through seven police schools where the graduates received a full year’s training.

It further noted that “the graduate students had received an applied training shored up  by field assignments in different fields of endeavor including various legal and technical professional know-how”.

This is part of the strategy set up by the DGSN to provide the best security services on the basis of professionalism and  know-how in order to safeguard the security of citizens and to protect their property, by focusing mainly on the development of the human resources, the same source underlined to this effect.
