Algeria reduces family allowance to 300 DZ from 600 DZ

Algerian finance ministry gave an instruction to reduce family allowance to 600 DZ from 300 DZ for public servants who earn salaries of more than 15,000 DZ.

The instruction is part of the government’s austerity raised.

Financial controllers contacted administrations and public institutions to inform them about the instruction which must be applied starting from January 1^st, 2015.

According to the instruction, salaries subject to social security contributions stipulated to executive decree No 298.96.
