Algeria : Rehabilitation of the Ahagar civilisational heritage
The Ministry of Culture signed yesterday a cooperation agreement with the French National Centre for Research in History and Pre-historic eras. The agreement aims at rehabilitating the Ahhagar history south east Algeria.
The signing ceremony was attended by Algerian side on the center’s director and researcher Slimane Hachi Malika Kachid, and on the French side the Director of the French Institute and the French Ambassador in Algeria , as well as the project manager.
This is the agreement that was pending since 2004. The Convention will last 4 years, subject to renewal, to use technological means in exact date of the effects of civilization and Tassili to reach the exact age of civilization to this civilization which is the oldest civilization. The two sides highlighted the importance of the Convention in the context of valuing cultural cooperation to serve the humanitarian heritage.
