Algeria releases 2014 mobilized groups from national service
Deputy Defense Minister General Ahmed Gaid Salah signed a regulatory text about the release of the 2014 mobilized groups concerned by national service reduction, Echorouk has learnt.
According to a new law on national service, three groups of 2014 will be released.
The first group will benefit from 6-month-reduction while the others will get reduction of different durations, said the same source.
Earlier in October, the defense ministry released the May and September 2013 groups as the first group had benefited from a 6-month-reduction.
According to the same source, different national service centers in the country continue settling the situation of people born before and in 1881. This is done upon request of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. More than 110,000 cases were settled until August.
