Angry citizens cut the road in front of Agriculture Minister southern Algeria

Organizers of the Agriculture Minister’s visit to El Oued, were forced on Monday to change the way that was programmed to lead the minister to one of the important scheduled points, because of protests in the city, as they cut the national road No. 48 that links between El Oued and Biskra, and burned rubber wheels protesting against the lack of speed bumps after a traffic accident killed a college student on the same day.

Municipality services intervened and launch a dialogue with the protesters who were residents of the neighborhood Teksabt, and ordered its services to complete speed bumps immediately in the mentioned road, in response to the desire of citizens, while the Agriculture Minister continued his visit in calm.
