Army Corps General Gaid Salah Urges Terrorist Remnants To Surrender To Benefit From National Reconciliation Charter
Ahmed Gaid Salah, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the National Peole’s Army, on Monday called on terrorist remnants to surrender and to return to the fold of the Algerian people by taking advantage of the Charter of Peace and National Reconciliation.
On the second day of his inspection visit to the first military region, Army Corps General Ahmed Gaid Salah said: “There is for you a salutary alternative to go back to your senses and to return to the right path and to the bosom of your society by benefiting from the advantages of the Charter for Peace and National Reconciliation, initiated by the President of the Republic and endorsed by the Algerian people with an absolute majority of votes”.
“Algeria ought to be an oasis of security and stability, in which all its people will get together in a fraternal atmosphere, dominated by a single principle of patriotism and preference for its supreme interests, “, he asserted.
During a broad-based meeting with the regional Army personnel, Army Corps General Ahmed Gaid Salah stressed determination to continue enhancing the capabilities of the ANP Army and to ensure the upgrading of its combat readiness and performance with the involvement of all its units and all its components.
He also highlighted the required need for the national armed forces to demonstrate due diligence and vigilance so as to counter any threat facing Algeria and endangering its security and stability.
The Deputy Minister of National Defense emphasized “the great development and modernization efforts deployed by the National People’s Army to maximize its potential”, while highlighting “the achievements it has achieved with the various security forces, with the prime objective being to make serenity and stability totally prevail for our homeland and our people”.
“In this context precisely, let everyone know that Algeria, which always clings to the good will of Allah Almighty, and which attaches itself to the lofty values of its glorious liberation revolution and which constantly aspires to gather the elements of its strength and its omnipotence, deserves with its people to be proud of the outstanding feats of the National People’s Army worthy heir to the National Liberation Army (ALN) in terms of power and development,” the Army Corps General further underscored in this respect.
