Bouteflika: “We Will Continue Supporting the Palestinian Cause”

Algeria will continue support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and their leadership in order to enable them to exercise their inalienable rights and establish their independent state on their land with Jerusalem as their capital, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, said.

“On the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the glorious revolution of January,1st, it is my pleasure to address you, on behalf of the Algerian people and government and on my own behalf, my sincere congratulations, and may God bless you and help the Palestinian people o fulfilled their hopes for freedom and emancipation”, President Bouteflika wrote in a congratulatory telegram to the Head of State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Mahmoud Abbas. 

“We salute, in this day, your continued efforts and the efforts of the Palestinian people in confronting the challenges and their commitment to defend their sacred and national rights”, he added.

 “From the position of Algeria in support of the Palestinian cause at all levels, we renew our support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and their leadership. We assure you that we will continue to do what we can to support the struggle of the Palestinian people and enable them to exercise their inalienable rights and establish their independent state on its land with Jerusalem as its capital.
