Consumer Protecting and Guidance Association to organize a “No Shopping National Day”

Local market to noticed a rise in the prices of foodstuffs, which made the simple citizen confused when looking for ways to secure the daily needs.
In front of this unjustified rise, the Association of Protecting and Guiding Consumer called upon the consumer and its surroundings to boycott procurement and declare a day without shopping.
Head of Association for Protecting Consumer, Moustafa Zebdi, asserted in a statement, which copy is available to Echorouk, that the association has agreed on making Saturday, December, 20, 2014, a “No Shopping National Day”, calling upon citizens to stop the acquisition of their needs and visit shops in order to put an end to the greed of merchants and the continuing price increase.
Zebdi excluded two basic products from boycott, which are bread and milk, due to the difficulty of getting rid of them.
“Consumers’ behavior of citizens encouraged speculators to raise prices, calling for all groups of society to cooperate and contribute to the success of this initiative”.
