Education: Benghabrit vows not to back down the discounting of strikers' wages

National Education Minister, Nouria Benghabrit, said, in press conference, that was organized at the Ministry, she does not know the reasons of the CNAPEST insistence to strike, and told pupils that lessons in all modules have been prepared by the National Office for Education and Training, and are available on the level of their schools.
“I will not retreat from discounting the teachers’ salaries and the effectiveness grant as well, and thus the teachers who went on strike and stopped working, will not get a salary, and will not get the effectiveness grant.”
Benghabrit back down the decision to apply the firing against striking teachers, and described the CNAPEST strike as illegitimate.
“There will be no threshold in the June 2015 BAC. Percentage of progress in the annual program reached 80%”, and forgot to talk about the lost weeks of strikes and bad weather, and the pupils’ protests against her statements about the baccalaureate, and pupils of the southern provinces where population is protesting against shale gas.
Nouria Benghabrit, said in the words of associations of pupils’ parents, that she decided to call upon both the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, and Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, for urgent intervention to save the pupils and the school from the white year.
