National Committee for Staff of Economic Services decided, under the banner of the National Union of Workers of Education and Training (UNPEF), to continue the renewed strike automatically until their demands are met, with organizing protest every Tuesday in front of the directorates of education, and determine the date of returning credits to the Public Treasury, after the completion of the legal consultation process, in the sense of (re-accreditation which recognizes that the economic services are classified within public accountant law).

Economic services staff took several decisions, during the emergency session, that was held on Monday at the central headquarters of UNPEF, to study the latest developments, following a recent meeting with Education Ministry. 
The meeting was attended by representatives from 40 Wilayas and gave a detailed presentation on positions of cities case by case.
It was concluded with a statement which denounced the escalation of Benghabrit’s threats against protesters, despite the legitimacy of their demands, the statement said, adding that what has been reached with the ministry cannot be a substitute for the pedagogical grant or equivalent to it, under another name to rectify the significant differences in wages of the economic services’ employees, with involving (UNPEF) in the Joint Committee with the Education Ministry, to prepare the file with strong justifications for submission to the government services and determine the time frame for that, especially after the government’s refusal to grant the years 2010 and 2014, which confirms, according to the statement that the Education Ministry did not provide “compelling justifications”.
Protesters decided to organize a national protest during the first week of December, which will notice a two days’ strike, 8 and 9 for adherents of National Council for Users of Teaching for the three educational phases (CNAPEST), to ask for taking charge of the teachers’ demands, that are still at a standstill for years, similar to the upgrade, the organization of professional exams for promotion, demise workers, medical care at work, housing file, compensation of the region for southern areas, retirement, social services. 
CNAPEST expressed solidarity with the protesters and refused the ministry’s decision to resort to law.
