Farouk Ksentini: “Bouteflika Has A Desire To Run For A Fifth Term”

President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has a desire to run for a fifth term in 2019, Farouk Ksentini, former Chairman of the Human Rights Advisory Committee, said Wednesday.

Ksentini told the website Tout Sur l’Algérie (All about Algeria) that he witnessed during his meeting last week with President Bouteflika, “his great desire to run for a fifth term in 2019”.

“On the basis of personal relationships with President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who knows me for more than 30 years, I met him, and talked with him at length last week, I saw that his health condition is good and his analysis of the political situation is very accurate and the only thing that disables him is that he has a low voice and he is moving with difficulty, especially his legs and can’t move without his wheelchair “.

“I know President Bouteflika well and he wants to remain in the service of his country until he died, and this is his character, he like remaining at the disposal of his homeland”.
