Gaid Salah: “ANP Army Strives To Shore Up Combat Potential To Face Up To All Challenges”

The ANP Chief of Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defense, Army Corps General Ahmed Gaïd Salah, on Tuesday praised the “climate of serenity and tranquility enjoyed by our fellow citizens throughout Algeria”.

Harking back to the statement made by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika who stated on the occasion of the Chahid or Martyr’s Day earlier this week, that “security is now assured and guaranteed throughout the national territory”, General Gaïd Salah  emphasized in this line that “the National People’s Army has built this salutary bulwark of security, with solid and deep foundations.

Thus, the ANP “works and will continue to strive tirelessly, day and night, with a great sense of responsibility and professionalism, to perpetuate the climate of serenity and tranquility that our citizens enjoy today in the four corners of the national territory, ” said the ANP chief of staff quoted by the Ministry of National Defense in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Last November, General Gaïd Salah stated in this respect that Algeria “has become a lofty example of tranquility and stability, despite all the vain and desperate attempts to  drag it into insecurity, thanks to the high conscience of the people, in all its categories, and the great confidence it places in its Valourous National Republican Army”.
