Gaid Salah: Training and Preparedness Are A Must To Bolster Genuine Strength Of ANP Army

The Deputy Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army (ANP), Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaïd Salah noted Sunday in Ouargla, “the high degree of development achieved” by the National Armed forces at “all levels,” said a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MND).

“I want to emphasize the high degree of development achieved in all aspects of the military profession and at all levels of the components of our Armed Forces, in perfect harmony with the strenuous efforts made and the means and potential of human, material, equipment and armaments put available, as well as with the objectives set to this effect,” Army Corps General Ahmed Gaid Saleh declared at the headquarters of the North-East Operational Sector In-Amenas on the 2nd day of his working and inspection visit to the 4th Military Region in Ouargla (southern Algeria).

Accompanied by Major-General Cherif Abderezak, Commander of the 4th Military Region, Mr. Gaïd Salah highlighted, in his guidance speech, followed by videoconference by all the elements of the ANP units of the Region, the “importance” of this encounter which coincides with the new year 2018, reiterating, on the occasion, the “great efforts made so far and which impelled the development of our Armed Forces to their highest levels”.

He further stressed the “ambitious and legitimate goals, which converge as a whole on the acquisition of military power factors, including good training and sturdy combat preparedness in line with the overall military strategy adopted in recent years,” adding that the ANP “continues to forge ahead, with great ambition and strong resolve, on the path of its steady development at all levels.

Army Corps General Gaid Salah also stated that the valiant ANP Army badly needs the arms and minds of her faithful sons, from whom it requires their hard work as well as  their infallible effort, their unshakable discipline and their immutable fidelity to the oath made to the lofty Chouhada or Martyrs of the glorious November Revolution”.
