Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry has maintained a regular annual scheme, without taking any precautionary or accelerated measures in the context of its contribution to the address of the collapse of oil prices.
Ministry’s Information cell said that the private sector would maintain all the projects that have been launched in the framework of the five years’ program.
Agriculture Bank will continue to grant loans to farmers, as an aid to support the activity and try to reduce the import bill, which is confirmed by the General Manager of Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, Boualam Djabbar, told Echorouk.
“Agriculture Bank will continue to grant loans to farmers, and did not take any new action after the declaration of new austerity policy”.
Agriculture Ministry, refused to answer Echorouk question on the strategy that will be used by the private sector, as the most relied on, it to avoid the consequences of importing what is produced locally, and reassured the citizens regarding the decisions that were taken by government, in the context of austerity.
“It did not reduce the products of supplying citizens with the fundamental strategic goods. Measures that have been taken in the past in the framework of supporting the consumer’s products are the same which will be adopted, and all the programs that had been prepared for the year 2015, will be applied literally and there will be no reduction of these articles, and they are forced to fund citizens”.
