Higher Education Ministry Opens A National Contest For Doctoral Students To Benefit From A Scholarship Abroad

Higher Education Ministry announced the opening of a national competition for the benefit of students to obtain training abroad to prepare for a doctorate in a number of people and disciplines that are set by the regional university seminars.

According to the Ministerial Instruction No. 01 dated on January, 24, 2018, on the implementation of the Overseas Placement Program for the academic year 2018/2019 for the benefit of students who are enrolled in doctorate, and determined the date of the competition was on March, 24, at the University of Mohamed Bougherra in Boumerdes for the files who are deposited in the center, and Ahmed Ben Bella university, Oran 1, for the West, while the east of the competition is conducted at the University of Abdrlhamid Mahri, Constantine 2.

The competition is open to students who meet the conditions that are set out in the organizational regulations for qualifying training, which are calculated on the basis of the first year rates. 

The Ministry limited its recent decision in a group of specializations to obtain a scholarship to study abroad, and the competition is open to students of English Language, and the opportunity is available to the top three students in the batch of each discipline and from each university, and the same number for the field of mathematics in all its specialties, and the opportunity is also open for the top three students in each specialization and university in the Division of Pharmacy, and to prepare for the doctorate graduation in the field of clinical pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and industrial pharmacy.

In the field of natural sciences and life, the files of the Division of Nutrition Science are accepted for students who are attending a doctorate in nutrition, food control, product quality, food security and food technologies.

The concerned students should send the files for nomination to the national competition to the regional seminars of universities, and this according to the calendar that is set for this purpose, and attach a file that is containing the documents that are specified by the Ministry, the information form and an identity picture, and the certificate of excellence in the batch with the mentioning of the assessment and order of the student that is signed by the Rector of the Higher Training in the first and second stages, and continuous training and certificates and higher training in the gradient or rector of the college, in addition to copies of the statements of points for the adopted years, for the LMD system, a copy of the school certificate for the second year Master for students who prepare for the master’s certificate or the fifth registration for the pharmacy certificate, or the sixth registration for students who are preparing for the medicine graduation, that is signed by the Vice Chancellor for Higher Training in the first and second stages, in addition to copies of the baccalaureate and university certificates, and two letters of recommendation, as the acceptance of candidates’ files shall be based on the best rates, and the results shall be announced on the day following the contest.
