General Secretary of the National Liberation Front Party, Djamal Ould Abbas, made important statements about the exposure of the late Algerian President, Houari Boumediene, and the leaders of the resistance and confrontation front, which was formed after the Camp David agreement, to liquidation by the international Zionism, considering that the death of Gamal Abdel Nasser due to a heart attack at the age of 50 was unbelievable.

In a new statement by Djamel Ould Abbas, he said that the late Algerian President Houari Boumediene, and the late Egyptian President, Gamal Abdel Nasser, were liquidated after they rejected the Camp David Accords by the international Zionism.

“It was not the first time that leaders of the group, which was known as the front of the confrontation, which included Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Algeria and Libya, are assassinated like the last Yemeni President Abdullah Saleh, who was killed by the Houthis”.

Ould Abbas’s statements coincided with the announcement of the US President, Donald Trump, of the decision to transfer the US Embassy to Jerusalem, as the General Secretary reiterated his party’s support for the Algerian foreign ministry’s position, calling on everyone to recruit and respond to this decision, adding that condemnation is not enough alone.

In the party affairs, the General Secretary of the National Liberation Front (FLN) announced, on Friday, that the normal session of the Central Committee meeting will be postponed to March 19, considering the stability of the party in this date as having a historical significance, especially, as it coincides with the Algerian Victory Day celebrations.

On the other hand, Ould Abbas said that FLN achieved good results in the past local elections.

“FLN expanded its presence at the state and municipal levels. The party’s revenues rose to 700 municipalities after 70 municipal councils joined it in addition to 33 councils. Our results are honorable and impressive at the same time”.

On the other hand, the General Secretary of the National Liberation Front refused to describe the joining of a number of activists to his party as “political roaming”.

“Those who joined FLN were activists who were wronged and were excluded from running. They entered free lists and returned to the party, like the head of the People’s Assembly of Central Algiers, Abdelhakim Batache, who ran on behalf of an independent list of the last locale elections, and joined FLN after the announcement of the results”.

He expressed “gratitude” for joining the party of the National Liberation Front, which he described as “the gathering house”.

In a different context, Ould Abbas returned to the statements that were made by French President Emmanuel Macron about the file of memory during his visit to Algeria, as they were described by Ould Abbas as “good”, rejecting France’s demand for the return of Harkis to Algeria.
