List Of Hard Professions That Are Concerned With Reducing Retirement Age Is Officially Determined

Labor, Employment and Social Security Minister, Mourad Zemali, accompanied by the Health, Population and Hospital Reform Minister, Mokhtar Hasbalaoui, will appoint, next Saturday, the committee in charge of proposing a list of hard-working positions and the minimum period of service in these posts and the corresponding ages that entitle the right to reduce the retirement age, which is the list that several workers are waiting to be released by the retirement law, that abolished the relative retirement, and restrict the right to access pensions only after the age of 60 years and the performance of 32 services.

The government finally decided to identify the sectors that would be classified as part of the hard labor, which would be exempted from the provisions of the amended pension law in 2016, which still raises a large controversy until now, as many independent syndicates ask for abolishing its provisions and return to the former retirement law.

Each sector demands its inclusion in the list of hard professions, especially that the criteria will be adopted in the process that have not yet been agreed upon, which put the government in a “dilemma” and made it wait before the opening of this “complicated” file.
