Louh: Body of “Harrag” Bouderbala To Arrive On Thursday For New Post-Mortem Examination
Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Tayeb Louh, announced that the Algerian authorities will be handed over the corpse of the young man, Mohamed Bouderbala, on Thursday to be subjected to a new autopsy to ascertain the real causes of his death which occurred in the Spanish prison of Archidona.
The hapless migrant late Mohamed Bouderbala was found dead last weekend in his prison cell in Archidona, Andalusia, in southern Spain, which the Spanish authorities use as a detention center for illegal aliens.
The Spanish police, conducting their own investigation, claimed that the autopsy revealed that the Algerian migrant had died “after hanging himself with a sheet”.
But his brother rejects this hypothesis. The Spanish authorities, as confirmed by the Keeper of the Seals, have inquired into the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of this national and Algeria has opened an investigation.
“The Magistrate in charge of the investigation will therefore issue to the Spanish authorities a rogatory commission, Mr. Louh underlined.
An approach that will allow the Algerian Examining Magistrate to request from the relevant Spanish authorities to do what is necessary to pinpoint the exact causes of the death of the Algerian migrant,” said Mr. Louh, who also announced the opening by the Attorney-General of another investigation into the recent horrendous murders of two other Algerian citizens, in suspicious circumstances in the French southern city of Marseille.
