Maj. Gen. Gaid Salah: “Counter terrorism, border protection results prove good performance of Commanders' strategy”

National Defense embodies, through the defense policy that reflects a set of options and principles that were adopted by the state, and which derives mainly from its overall policy and national security strategy, Deputy of Defense Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Maj. General Ahmad Gaid Saleh said.
National Defense is realized through adopting the overall abilities of the state, which is based mainly on the spiritual and moral values of the nation, and that determines the overall work to carry out the “sacred duty” which is represented in defending the nation.
Gaid Salah said on Monday, in his opening speech during a meeting with officials who are assigned of training the army, in the presence of chiefs of staff and leaders of troops in charge of military training institutions at the level of the leadership of troops and districts and the central services of the Polytechnic military school in the Paint Maritime; “National defense policy that is adopted by Algeria through employing the comprehensive abilities of the state to confront any aggression that could threaten the national sovereignty.
“National defense is a common matter of all the living forces and national energies, as it represents the overall political, military, social, economic, legal and other measures, that are taken by the State in order to face any aggression that could target its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and security of its population, resources and capabilities and economic potential.”
“National People’s Army Command gives a large importance to the military system training, through the provision of all the human and material success factors, pedagogical and institutional factors, as this system is a real workshop for manufacturing the high-level skills and competencies.”
Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army also heard interventions of frames and students of the Polytechnic Military School, the National Preparatory School for Engineering Studies, School of Nations Cubs in Blida, and oversaw the second meeting of frames in charge of training, military training institutions’ leaders in charge of training at the level of the leadership of troops and central services, during which he listened to a presentation by the Chairman of the Military Education Office which included all aspects of the training, where the Maj. Gen gave directives to exert maximum efforts to raise the level and quality of training in the National People’s Army, through the introduction of a deliberate improvements that stem from a rational and objective assessment, valuing the results that were achieved in the field of training and fighting preparation.
