Security investigations that were conducted by the Research Platoon of the Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie in Tlemcen, (western Algeria), reveal that Moroccans kidnapped a young man from the area of Ouled Keddour at the border, and asked his family to pay 500,000 DZD to release them.

Serious developments stated that the abductors are 4 Moroccan barons who are active in drugs’ wholesale, and have kidnapped this young man in revenge for his brother, who did not pay 500,000 ZDZ for 10 Quintals of drugs.
Moroccan kidnappers detained the Algerian youth before contacting his family to claim the provision of this amount in exchange for his release, as the commander of the National Gendarmerie Group of Tlemcen, told Echorouk in a phone conversation, that the incident was related to the issue of 10 quintals of drugs that were seized last September by customs, denying at the same time the news about the extortion that was carried out by terrorist organizations which are active in the field of demanding ransoms.
“Investigation is still under way with the detained youth, who confirmed that he had been kidnapped by 4 Moroccans, and they have detained him in an unknown location in Ouejda before they force him to contact his family, and asked them to choose between providing money or physical liquidation”.
“Contradiction was clear in the statements about the ransom amount, as he sometimes said that Moroccans demanded 500.000 DZD and at other times he claimed that they had received only 100 million in exchange for his release. These statements remain contradictory and unrealistic, otherwise how is the large difference is interpreted between the two amounts”.
denied knowledge of the young persons who received the amount and type of car and even her own, reveals that the case enveloped a lot of ambiguity about the identity of the persons who received the amount and the way through which the kidnapping of the young and returned despite the closed borders.
