MPs Present 52 Proposals For Amendments To The Finance Law

On Tuesday, the National People’s Assembly received 52 proposals for amendments to the draft finance law of 2018 that were submitted by MPs.

According to a statement that was issued by the council, “the National People’s Assembly Bureau, headed by Said Bouhadja, met on Tuesday evening to discuss an agenda for studying the proposed amendments to the draft finance law for 2018 and to study the draft budget of the National People’s Assembly for the same year”.

“NPA’s Bureau referred to the Finance and Budget Committee 36 amendments to meet the formal requirements that were proposed to the draft Finance Law for 2018 out of the 52 amendment proposals which consisted in the total of 16 articles that were submitted by 25 Mps and 16 amendments were rejected for not meeting the formal requirements and violating the Provisions of the Constitution “.

According to the same source, the meeting dealt with the “draft budget of the National People’s Assembly for the year 2018 and was referred to the Finance and Budget Committee to study its contents including sections: the processing, budget management and activities that are programmed during the fiscal year and the development of adoption of the draft management budget”.
