MSP Movement Complaint To Paris About Trump's Unjust Decision On Jerusalem
Parliamentary bloc of the Movement for a Society For Peace sent a communication to the French Ambassador to Algeria, Xavier Driencourt, expressing rejection and condemnation of the decision of the US President Donald Trump regarding the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity “Israel”.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Bloc of the MSP alliance, Nasser Hamdadouche, said the meeting with the French ambassador came at the request of the movement and was held at the French embassy in Algeria on Tuesday evening.
MSP statement said: “These communications came in the framework of a series of meetings with ambassadors of the permanent members of the Security Council, in order to inform them about a special note expressing the position of the Algerian people towards the decision of the US President to move the US embassy to Jerusalem, and its recognition as the capital of the Zionist entity”.
“The meeting with the French ambassador was an opportunity to value the French position on the resolution, calling for the rejection of a vote on it in the Security Council, with steadfastness on the situation, and continuing pressure on the American side in international forums and all meetings that are held by the General Assembly of the United Nations”, Hamdadouche added.
“The parliamentary delegation mentioned the dangerous dimensions of Trump’s decision and its consequences regionally and internationally, especially that the US intransigence is against the world”.
“Our MPS submitted to the French ambassador a number of demands for the French Republic, calling upon France to pressurize the US administration to stop this decision and retried it due to its dangerous repercussions, and to support the diplomatic efforts in regional and international forums, in order to recognize the historic and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and their right to freedom and to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as their capital. French ambassador to Algeria assured us of transmitting these demands and concerns to the French state”.
In the internal affairs of the movement, Abderrazzak Mokri is expected to officially take over the presidency of the movement from Abdelmadjid Menasra on Saturday, under the terms of the unity agreement that is signed between the Movement for a Peaceful Society and the Change Front, which lasted six months for both parties, as Mokri will return again to the presidency of MSP party before the sixth conference of the movement, and he is is expected to discuss the files of the current period, especially after the local and legislative elections, and the file of the Presidency Elections will be strongly discussed, including the candidate of MPS in the next phase.
