New meeting for the Libyan dialogue to be held next week in Algeria

A meeting of parties in the Libyan conflict will be held, during the next week, to start the negotiations in the framework of the Algerian initiative to resolve the crisis, Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, told Echorouk on the sidelines of the National Symposium for Foreign Trade in Algiers Club des Pins.

“Parties of the Libyan conflict will hold a new round of dialogue next week in Algeria, in the framework of the initiative that is sponsored by Algeria. Algerian diplomacy is doing best efforts in coordination with the United Nations. Solution to the Libyan crisis requires the will of all parties of the conflict.”
Head of the Algerian diplomacy described the next round as an advanced stage, on the grounds that the parties of the Libyan conflict will start negotiations on substantive issues, which is the interim government and stop the violence.
“Parties that will participate in the next round, are the same that participated in the previous round, including leaders of political parties and political activists.”
“Participation in the joint military force, which have been launched, during the Arab foreign ministers meeting, in the framework of the Arab League, is not mandatory. Algeria is ready to provide logistical support.”
It is known that the Libyan dialogue, which is sponsored by Algeria gathers 20 Libyan political figures, including the Justice and Construction Party, Mohamed Sawan, and head of Al Watan party, Abdelhakim Belhadj, the head of the party of Change, Joumaa Kemati, and Abdellah Reffadi, Secretary-General of the National Front party, Ali Takbali, who is senior lawmaker in Tobrouk Parliament, and Ali Abou Zakouk, member of Tobrouk parliament, and Djomaa Atika former General Vice President of the Libyan Conference.
Khaled Macheri, official in the Committee on National Security and General National Conference, Abdelhfid Ghoka, Rabie Cherrir, Mohamed Abdelmoutalib Houni and Hicham Alwondi, will participate in the meeting.
