Mr Dahou Ould Kablia, President of the National Organization of the Mujahedeen and General Communications (MALG) has strongly hit out against Said Sadi’s depreciating remarks against Mujahidine or Algerian war veterans who fought against the former French colonial yoke like Messali El Hadj, Ahmed Ben Bella, and Ali Kafi stressing that the former RCD party leader was insulting their memories by denying them any salient role in Algeria’s glorious armed liberation struggle.

In a strong reaction, Mr Ould Kablia as a former Mudjahid or war veteran himself firmly rejected Sadi’s statements as utterly “mendacious and warped” saying that the former RCD party leader wasn’t entitled at all to speak about Algeria’s contemporary history because he suffers from an “acute inferiority and regionalization complex”.

Mr Ould Kablia also affirmed in a statement to “Echorouk” that Said Sadi should better shut up for good and find a cure to his deep debilitating woes instead of blatantly tarnishing the brand-image of valourous mudjahidine who gave a lot for Algeria’s long and bitter struggle for freedom and independence.

He added that Said Sadi’s “muckraking” statement restricting the November revolution only to his native region of Kabylia was untrue and spiteful to other Algerians as all regions of the country had valiantly and bravely contributed to the heroic independence struggle waged against the harsh colonial rule.
