Plane crash Western Algeria: “Pilot survived, MIG 25 turned into a flame”

Municipality of Zemalat Emir Abdelkader in the palace of Shallala in Tiaret is still living on the impact of an incident of the crash of a military aircraft in the region of Boomlil, on the border with the municipality of Faidja, as people did not sleep because they worried and were curious.

At the beginning, Imran, a teacher in the region, said a number of people were on board of a bus for public transport, when they saw aplane crushing and burning at 6:30 pm, then they heard the sound of a huge explosion and a huge block of fire. 

After a period of time, citizens, gendarmes and Civil Protection agents and local authorities joined the place which was dark and vision wasdifficult.

Two kilometers far from the place of the crush, there was another gathering of citizens and especially residents of Djelila who rushed to inquire about what happened and offer their services. There they found the pilot lying on his back and has brought to attention through igniting a faint light from his mobile phone, while the parachute by which he reached out the earth and was thrown besides him.

Pilot was lucky because he escaped death by using parachute and fell away from water, in the place where he fell, where some meters separated him from the canal which is an extension of a long valley, and he only suffered an injury on the back, and a part of the chest.

In the way, the ambulance was rushing to take him to the hospital, as he won a good impression due to his success in avoiding the crash in the residential places.

Dozens of cars and hundreds of citizens separated in the late hours of the night,and fire was extinguished and inflamed in the ill-fated planestructure.

According to Echorouk sources, the plane was coming from Hassi Bahbah Airport, and the pilot was in a training session.
