Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front (FLN) party, Amar Saadani, vows those who accused him of theft and espionage with foreign countries, to be subject to judicial follow-up on the level of the military court, and challenged his opponents to organize a rally outside the capital.

Saadani said in the meeting, which gathered him on Saturday, with the Governors of the Party at the Central Headquarters: “There are those who accuse me of stealing $ 300 million in a website that is owned by an official’s son, and that I dealt with the DST (ProtectionTerritory Directorate or French intelligence), but I will raise a lawsuit against the owner of the subject in a military court on my own name, and neither the Party nor the central Committee and governors are part of this.”

Saadani did not refer by name to this official, but the site which published the information, is believed to be owned by the son of the formerDefence Minister, the retired Gen. Khaled Nezzar.

In another context, Saadani challenged his opponents who protest in front of the central headquarters, during the past two weeks, toorganize rallies in the Wilayas to which they belong, and asked: “What do these people want? How many times some newspapers andsome channels spoke about them .. I challenge them to organize a gathering in any Wilaya but Algiers.”

He went on to say: “I’m ready to go to any Wilaya and say there are problems .. but they do not want to go to their Wilayas and insist on aprotest in the capital. I tell them that the summit party ended. This campaign is intending to leave the party with no role.”

Saadani accused his opponents to secede from the norm and prefer struggle in saloons, in reference to the villa where AbderrahmanBelaiat and his friends meet in Algiers Al Biar.

“FLN activists are committed to defending their positions and decisions, as decisions do not come only from the basis, and leadership is working on its application.”
