Security Services Prepare A Plan To Face Violence, Suicide, Brainwashing Games Of Kids

General Directorate of Security confirmed on Sunday the impossibility of blocking the dangerous websites that are sweeping the social networks that promote suicide, kidnapping, violence and brainwashing of teens, and charging them with negative ideas.

It attributed this to the technological development that allows the opening of thousands of pages in a second, uncovering its plan to face the danger.

Head of the Cyber Crime Department at the Directorate of the Judicial Police at General Directorate of Security, revealed at a seminar on “the dangers of bad use of Internet and electronic games on kids”, that investigations are open on the suicide cases of 5 adolescents and children because of the Blue Whale game in both Setif and Bejaia (Eastern Algiers).

“To this date, nothing is been proven, and the cases that are registered are classified as deaths until proven otherwise”.

Police dean Bachir Al-Said, head of the department of electronic crime at the General Directorate of Security said that several investigations were opened by the cyber crime teams in regard to dangerous electronic games that rely on brainwashing adolescents and children, hypnotizing them and sending them with negative thoughts such as loss and hatred and spreading the feeling of not being found inside them with a number of strange tasks such as watching horror movies and waking in the hours of dawn and working on self-harm and standing on the high surfaces and other acts, which push the child directly to suicide and revenge.

The investigation, according to the spokesman, led to the recording of many cases in which children were exploited through social networks and prompted them to leak the secrets and pictures of their families and provide the phone number of their parents.

In the language of the figures, the head of the cyber crime department of the Judicial Police Directorate revealed 1500 cases that are related to e-crime between January 1st and October 1st, involving 54 minors, while the last 95 minors were victims of social networks because they were exploited by unknown persons.

The representative of the General Directorate of Security called on the parents to play their role through the participation of the kids in their choices, and their perception of the dangers of electronic games, and the lack of over-indulgence.

These games are played in complete family oblivion and ignorance of what they offer.

The security official announced the launch of a sensitization campaign in coordination with the Ministry of Education, including all educational institutions regarding the risk of reluctance to dangerous websites through the Internet.

A judicial police official told Echorouk, on Sunday, on the sidelines of the press conference, that all the security services are concerned with the fight against cyber crime and begun to monitor carefully a number of websites of dangerous games that promote acts of violence, revenge and suicide.
