Sonelgaz Imports Israeli-Made Equipment

An oral question that was addressed to the Energy Minister about a scandal of Sonalgaz, which was involved in the import of Israeli-manufactured equipment, was asked by the MP, Lakhdar Ben Khallaf, from the Union for the Renaissance, Justice and Construction party.

In an oral question, which copy is available to Echorouk, Ben Khallaf asked about how an Algerian economic company such as Sonlegaz could do this step and allow the conclusion of this deal, and who is responsible for its conclusion, and who received the equipment upon its arrival, recalling Algeria’s position which is considered the most decisive countries in the issue of normalization with the Zionist entity, and as it categorically refuses to recognize it and the boycott of Israel politically and economically, and prevents the entry of goods of Israeli origin, the Minister of Energy as the first responsible of the company must take strict measures and open an investigation against who did this despicable work, and wonders about the fate of this equipment, whether it was installed in some units or is expected to be installed and is located at the level of some Sonelgaz branches.

Ben Khallaf revealed the scandal of Sonalgaz branche which imports Israeli made equipment for one of its branches on April 3, 2017, although the measures that are taken by the customs to monitor and prevent the entry of Israeli made goods,as the pictures show that the equipment reads, “Made in Israel” and was received by the company and is currently in one of the company’s branches in the municipality of Boutlilice Oran (western Algeria), and all this happens during the boycott of sports and political teams of any event that is involving Israel, after Trump’s recognition of the Judaization of Jerusalem. 

“This can not be accepted by the Algerian government. Where is this government? Where are the Trade and Finance Ministries? and even the customs to stop this dangerous deal and the transgression, and who allowed the entry of goods that are made by the State of the Zionist entity?
