Tunisian Interior Ministry: “We Have Eliminated Most Of Algerian Terrorists”

Most of the leaderships of the terrorist groups in the Tunisian mountains were eliminated, Interior Minister representative, Brigadier-General, Khalifa al-Shaibani said.

“Most of these leaders are Algerian nationals, including the two terrorists who were recently eliminated in the Tarbakhana security operation”.

Tunisia security official said in a statement to the private radio station, Mosaik, on Monday, that these leaders were sent by the terrorist called, Abdelmalek Droudkal, to reorganize the Jund al-Khalafah organization in the Tunisian highlands after the great security victories that were achieved in Tunisia in the field of combating terrorism. 

“Earlier, two terrorists of Algerian nationality, who are two senior assistants of Droudkel, were eliminated by Tunisian forces”.

On the return of foreign fighters, Shaibani said: “We should be aware of their return and prepare a special approach to deal with them because they are war criminals of a special kind. Dealing with returnees from hotbeds of tension is the jurisdiction of the justice. Some of them returned under security supervision, and others were arrested.
