Wage increases reach up to 6,500 ZDZ for employees as from June

The new draft executive law, which copy is available to Echorouk, and which was amended by the Executive Decree No. 08-70, that is dated on February 2008, and which included the establishment of compensatory grants for the benefit of some public officials who are affiliated in public institutions and administrations, includes details of the financial increases that are arising from the review of Article 87 bis which will reach 1,457,000 employees.

According to the text of the draft executive decree, which is expected to be published in the Official Gazette next month, and which enters directly in the application starting from June, the lump-sum and compensatory grant will be granted according to the amounts in a descending order, from 3300 ZDZ For class 1 to 1,000 ZDZ for class 10,  added to the current amounts that are ranging from 3,200 ZDZ for Class 1 to 2,000 ZDZ for Class 10, bringing the total amount which is ranging from 6500 ZDZ for class 1 to 3,000 ZDZ for class 10, which is the value of financial increases that will be for the benefit of employees who are listed in the lowest rank 1, and the upper level 10, as this procedure will result, according to the content of the annual financial impact, that is estimated at more than 430 million ZDZ.

Wage increases agenda indicates that employees that are classified in grade 1, will benefit from a 6,500 ZDZ financial wage increase, while ranks 2, 3, 4.5, will respectively benefit from 5,200 ZDZ, 5,900 ZDZ, 5600 ZDZ and 5300 ZDZ, while the ranks 6 and 7, will respectively benefit from 5,000 ZDZ and 4,000 ZDZ, and the rank 8 will benefit from 3,700 ZDZ, and ranks 9 and 10 will benefit from 3,000 ZDZ.
