Rabah Madjer: Ready to work in Algeria but…
Rabah Madjer
The Algerian football legend Rabah Madjer didn’t make up his mind yet as to his future destination after deciding to make an end to his six year collaboration with Al Jazeera Sport as a consultant.
- The Algerian Golden Boy is seriously considering the eventuality to come back as a coach, but many wander whether he was keen on working in his home country.
- Replying to a question concerning this eventuality he said” I must admit that I missed a lot coaching, which is in fact my initial vocation. After what happened with Al Jazeera, I’m not excluding this option a as I’m not excluding the move to another sports channel, because I grew up liking this job, but the best scenario for me is to find a way to do the both of them at the same time, at this time I’ll be very happy… As to the eventuality top work in Algeria again, of course it’s a serious option, especially that it has to do with serving my country, but it will be under certain conditions”.
- Rabah Madjer insisted on the fact that these conditions have nothing to do with money because he was seeking something else “ I’m a professional and I don’t like to squander my time in useless things, that’s why I always ask the teams that need to seal a contract with me to have a project that meets my vision of things and ambitions…”
- Anyway, the upcoming days will certainly reveal the future destination of Rabah Madjer, even if he has denied any contact with the other sports channel “ART” as reported by some sources.
